What information is needed for installation?
Your physical location (city, estate, building or house number) and your account details, name, email, phone, and address.
What is the installation process?
Our sales team confirms service availability at your location, advance payment covers the survey and installation, and an engineer surveys and runs the cable either underground or overhead. A separate installation appointment follows, with setup guidance once the router is in place.
How do I upgrade or modify my connection?
Contact customer care on 0747 585 100 and we'll help you switch packages or change connection details.
How do I troubleshoot my connection?
Verify the power switch is on (green highlight), confirm both the PON and WLAN lights are flashing green, check that the LAN LED is flickering, and restart the unit if the LOS LED is red. Confirm your subscription is active and avoid moving the equipment after installation.
How do I connect to Wi-Fi?
On Windows: Connect To → Show all Connections → Wireless internet → View Available Wireless Connections. On macOS: Applications → Internet Connection → AirPort. On Linux: use Network Manager with WEP/WPA encryption configured.
How do I run a speed test?
Close file-sharing and update-checking software, test from a reasonably modern device, and avoid multiple simultaneous downloads. Run the test at jtl.co.ke/speed-test. Results vary with network congestion and other downloads in progress.
What do the router LED lights mean?
Red LOS (solid): loss of signal, report to 0747 585 100. Red LOS (blinking): temporary billing-related disconnection. Green PON: internet connection established. Green WLAN: Wi-Fi broadcasting. Green LAN1/2/3/4: LAN cable active.
